What happens when a woman feels stuck between a rock and a hard place? She gets a sledgehammer!
In this comedy, eldest daughter Maggie will not take “no” for an answer and paves the way for herself and her sisters — much to her father’s chagrin.
North Grenville Community Theatre (NGCT) presents Hobson’s Choice, a play by Harold Brighouse, from September 28–30 at 7:00pm with a matinée on October 1. This live theatre show is a period, comedic play with elements of both King Lear and Cinderella. It features a widower, three daughters (two flighty and one hard-working) and a lot of shoes. As usual, there is a great cast for this production. NGCT returns to a favourite venue: the Parish Hall in Kemptville.
